What data we process
- Booking request: name, phone, email, note, company name or Company ID and delivery address where given, the chosen car, dates and extras.
- Sale enquiry and contact form message: name, phone, email and the text of the message.
- Technical data needed to protect the forms from abuse, such as the IP address.
We do not collect copies of ID cards or driving licences through the website.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to handle your request, enquiry or question and to prepare a contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We therefore do not need your consent.
Protecting the forms from spam and abuse is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Processors
We process the data ourselves, with the help of these processors:
- Vercel: website operation and hosting.
- Supabase: database storing requests and enquiries (servers in Frankfurt).
- Resend: sending emails.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile): protecting forms against bots.
- Sentry: reporting technical errors on the website.
Transfers outside the EU
Some processors are based in the USA. Data is transferred to them on the basis of [to be added: an adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses].
How long we keep data
- Declined, cancelled and expired booking requests: 6 months.
- Closed enquiries and questions: 12 months.
- Confirmed bookings that led to a contract: for as long as accounting and tax laws require. Personal data in the booking is anonymised after 3 years.
When the period ends, the data is deleted automatically.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to us at rent@b2brent.cz.
